Good Morning all. Just over a week from the Smoky Mountain AD show and the 4th "Southern Bolter" Jamboree. I wanted to lay out a timeline for the trip.
Wayn67svert (Wayne) is driving up from FLA to meet me and Linda in Brunswick, Ga. on Wed the 29th. From there we will take I-95N to I-26W, we will stay on I-26W thru SC and pick up I-40W just west of Ashville NC. We are going to stay overnight in Maggie Valley and meet everyone Thursday morning at the "Buttered Biscuit> for breakfast. After breakfast we will get back on I-40 and head west to Pigeon Forge on on to Townsend from there. As Wayne and Alvin are going to trailer their Trucks I estimate us being in Townsend between 1:00 and 2:00 Thursday afternoon. No doubt we will be chasing PaPa Joe the entire way up I-40.

TUTS 59 We won’t be able to make it to Townsend this year . Have a Beach Trip planned with the Grandkid’s. Y’all could come in the Back way to Townsend on Dragons tail. LOL
Dakota, last year the final Cruise for the Show was over the Dragons Tail. We didn't have any from our group take part on the Cruise, we decided to set in the shade and drink Beer.

Archie I don't know anything about a cookout but, Vicki is baking her "made from scratch" cookies right now and the last count I did was over 120 cooling on the table. I have had three so far straight out of the oven.

I was thinking of Friday evening, last year we had people leave Saturday after the Show. We had access to the covered picnic area and tables at our campground.
We all gathered at Burger Miester on Saturday last year.

Wayne67vert (Wayne) left his house about 7:00 this morning. He should be here in Brunswick around 10:30, a short break and then on the road to Maggie Valley NC. The adventure begins...

Wayne, looks like you are in the running for the hard luck prize, if there is one?
Vicki and I have checked in at the Drury in Paducah. She got a tour of the Quilt Museum while I sat and watched the Ohio river go by. Should be in Townsend tomorrow mid afternoon.
Safe travels everyone and keep us posted!! Don
