And I was able to make a pile of sawdust getting the boards in place. Now I need to drill 64 holes. Found out I was sent one strip with no holes. Not sure how I am going to solve this one?

I'd have the supplier replace that one strip. Unless you have a drill that will make square holes, it's going to be tough to do those. That hole-less strip looks like it's polished stainless vs non-polished on the rest of them.
But the bolts in the strips should go between the boards, so you shouldn't have to drill those.

The other strips have the protective sticker on them still.

Truck looks great! If that one strip was smack dab in the middle, you could have one oddball that bolted from the bottom, assuming it has all-thread welded to it so you can thread nuts on from underneath.

Hung the hood today. It's not aligned and I need to put springs on hinges, but doing it with myself and I, I consider it a win with all 4 bolts in.

Mirrors on. Fender supports on. Badging on. Marker lights in. Dome light in Hi low beam switch in. Main Wiring is headed in which is going to be a nightmare. .

Gave up on the wiring for a while. Working on glass.

Dropped the rear window twice. Slid down hit the frame, lift arm and onto the concrete. Tough stuff for sure.

Wing window and window tracks are not fun with new paint.

Rear window for me was the worst! Your truck looks good. Hopefully will get to my door glass and wing windows this month.

Being unemployed has its advantages.

Little did I know you can't install wing window until you do the rest of the glass. Well that is done now on both sides.

Original glass cleaned up decent. I.may need to.polish it next winter. Moving onto the bed strips now. Have 64.holes to.drill in the cross.beams.

Ran out of time tonight. Only have a few holes left to drill. I changed to standard composite lumber so none of the holes lined up in cross sills. Needs a good cleaning, but I like it vs oem wood.

So these two pics are 2 years 9 months apart. Truck is loaded up to get an exhaust system and a windshield. Could not believe I could get the windshield and install for the same money as buying it from lmc

I hope to be doing the glass portion of my project later this year, pending painting and assembly. I had my exhaust done with just the cab on the chassis although the exhaust shop did want the rear bumper and at least a portion of the bed installed to verify clearances.

Been busy with family cap, and starting a new job. Have to grab pic of the glass, but the AL trim is worth every penny as is the chrome accent for rear window.

Exhaust is complete. Dumb money, but its all stainless, and my cutouts dump back into the exhaust pipe. I got it as quiet as I could with the mufflers. I hope its not droney when traveling at speed.

A big thanks to Hambone for gifting me a headlight switch two years ago. After a bad light bad ground and a bad switch I have headlights again. I made markers run with headlights too because I just like it that way. Got pics of the windshield and rear window trim. I like the bling on these trucks because there was not much available.

Must be getting real close now. Enjoy that first drive to be transfer station.

Ferris, the truck does look incredible. I see you've got the Stovebolt License Plate. Yaa-hoo. We have a fellow Bolter going to make up a bunch for us. We had to send him our last one so he could see what kind of material it's made out of. We think it's pretty sturdy and a good color.

I snuck across town into Laconia for a cruise night. No plate on truck yet but I wanted to show off a little. Tape still on it, wiring looking terrible, etc.

While I was out looking at other rides the sponsor had his waitresses pose next to my truck.
