I'd like to keep my bench seat original look, but would love a fold down center armrest. Any chance there exists a 40's-50's bench seat from something else that would fit and come with a center armrest? I'd like to avoid going with something fully modern.

Late 50s Cadillacs have fold down arm rests but they're probably too wide for the truck. What about one of those aftermarket console type armrests that sit on the seat?

PapaDisco, Look at using the rear seat from a modern luxury small car and installing it into your original seat frame. It might require a little stitching and fitting but will be very comfortable. In my 59 I used the rear seat from a '90 Caddy. Removed the original truck coil springs and replaced with the comfy foam from the Cadillac seat. Its not only much more comfortable than the old coil spring seat, but also thinner in the backrest so there is more room between seat and steering wheel. Having the fold down armrest is a bonus.

I have Buick Lesabre seats. There are Pontiac's that are the right size.

I had this in my 57. I believe it was out of a F**d. Very and an armrest is very comfy.

Yep. That looks like a '92-'96 F-150. Probably other years will fit, too since Ford used essentially the same platform from 1980 through 1996 (1997 on F-250)

Here's my mom's 1995 XLT F-150.

The pattern and the fabric on the red one look like 1993.

That is exactly the same seat that is in my 59, color and everything.

Edit: getting back to the original question, I believe that the AD trucks had a narrower cab than the TF trucks so it would be a tight fit.
