I need the bumper filler panel for a 47-53 big bolt. I also posted this in "truck parts wanted", but I wasn't sure if all the big bolt guys look ever there that much, and since we all've got big bolts I figured someone here would have one. thanks.

Are you talking about the splash apron behind the front bumper?

If you are looking for the splash apron between the bumper and grille the 54 is different than the 47/53. The 54 grille sets over the apron which is indented down and the 47/53 is cut out and sets in front of the grille. I had one but it was for a p/u and I sold it.

at the risk of gettin in trouble--------again--i have one on a 51 conventional 1 1/2 ton. it also has a straight bumper on it if you are interested. p.m. me soon, as this beast goes to the shredder this weekend.

i swear we need our own swap meet. maybe not a separate section like the others, but for reasons just like this, we need to be able to help each other.

by the way, the price is right------free. you pay shipping. i'll be cutting out the 327 smallblock and keeping the bellhousing as they are starting to get pretty rare, and the door handles for the 51 cabover for spares. the rest will soon be sitting in a toyota dealership near you.

oh i can make you a great deal on the splash apron, cab, frame and the 1500 gallon water tank that's bolted to it.
i honestly don't want to see the thing slashed into a thousand pieces, but where it's at i can no longer keep it. i can put the 327 on an engine stand in the garage until it gets rebuilt or i can find a home for it.

the truck was a irwipi entry about 3 years ago, but i don't know where in cyberspace the picture is now. i'm heading to the track today with a torch to get the things i want off of the truck and get it ready to go. i will look at the apron and make sure it suitable. i also need to see if the 50 1 1/2 ton gmc is still where i left it, and a 53 1 ton is there too.

time to clean up a few things. watch the freebies and for sale sections pretty soon.

Koolcar, I have a 48 6500 and it was vandalized while at mechs having brakes worked on. Took all door handels, dash trim, glove box door, radio delete, batt box cover, and air cleaner. The left front fender also damaged by clumsy tow truck driver. Got any of that still around? Insturments and turn signals? Will pay shipping of course!!! Hate to hear of a truck heading to the shredder but I'm too far away to rescue him/her(truck).

the 1951 is at a landfill site. i guess somebody decided to move it with a bulldozer. a guy agve me a 50 1 1/2 ton last year, but i have no place to keep it. i thought i was gonna rent a barn lot, but that guy ended up sellin' his property. the 50 might still be in a field, and i'll get out there today and go look. the 50 had a running 270 in it, and a radio, and is complete less 1 tire and wheel.

i also got to figure out how to move the thing.

C'mon guys -- Time to re-read the rules, okay? And we *DO* have a Swap Meet -- it's called "The Swap Meet." Nutty, huh?
