Well, I thought I'd post a few pics of my 1952 GMC Ambulance. It's been 8 1/2 years since we rescued it from the cedar trees in northern AZ. This last year or so I've really hit it hard, pushing to the finish line. Major help from my son. He did all the body and paint and was the extra hands in reassembly.
Highlights: Danforth front end with S-10 control arms Lincoln steering rack 2" drop spindles 4x4 S-10 posi rearend 2004 5.3 with 4L60E tranny Vintage Air A/C Honda Odyssey seats Classic gauges Other bits and pieces.
Still have seat belts to put in. Make a console for the front seats. (Gotta have cup holders!) Son says we need beauty rings for the wheels and a visor. Had a local young man tune the engine and tranny, really runs nice and the Flowmaster adds just the right "sound."
Many thanks to all that have helped and advised along the way! What a great bunch of guys and forum! I've relied on this forum for countless ideas and info over the years.

- It's what we do. (Part of it anyway). You have done such a wonderful job on the restore, it merited more exposure, like we do for those in the DITY Gallery.

Richard, Congrats on a very fine specimen you have there. Clearly you put uncounted hours of loving labor into such an outstanding looking 'Burb. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you all for the kind words! Yes they are the center seats from the Odyssey. Will be a little difficult for a large adult to enter the back seat as I didn't keep the folding mechanism for the fronts. They would have been much too tall if I had. I'm still figuring out the seat belt arrangement.
Thanks again all.
