What would have been the positive wire going into the unit now becomes the negative wire. Is this where the fuse is to be used? The unit does work as a positive ground. I used a 535 flasher, but it flashes as fast as a strobe light. What other flasher could I use?

No clue on a proper flasher.

This one is rated for six 32 cp lamps. Should slow the flashing down some, but I don't know if it would be enough.

Finished installing the turn signal lights, turn signal and wiring. Still worked like a strobe light. Going thru my parts cabinet I found a 32cp 535 flasher new in a sealed container. Exchanged it with the old 535 flasher and lo and behold the lights flash correctly.
