This is for a positive ground 6v system. Using a Signal Stat 900 DOTQQC76. I want to install a 15a fuse. What would have been the positive wire going into the unit now becomes the negative wire. Is this where the fuse is to be used? The unit does work as a positive ground. I used a 535 flasher, but it flashes as fast as a strobe light. What other flasher could I use?

A fuse should always go on the wire coming from the non-grounded terminal of the battery.
No clue on a proper flasher.

Most 535 flashers (6 volt, positive ground) are rated for a max of four 32 candle power lamps. This one is rated for six 32 cp lamps. Should slow the flashing down some, but I don't know if it would be enough.

Update -

Finished installing the turn signal lights, turn signal and wiring. Still worked like a strobe light. Going thru my parts cabinet I found a 32cp 535 flasher new in a sealed container. Exchanged it with the old 535 flasher and lo and behold the lights flash correctly.
