Not enough detail on the frame to make a WAG on its origin, but that "suicide" spring perch and the buggy spring are somebody's cobbled-up deathtrap. It's a very poor attempt at making a clone of the early Ford transverse leaf spring suspension system. Better add a good "accidental death" clause to your life insurance! Jerry

I'm going back to an OEM cross spring and a straight front axle on the dirt track coupe I'm building, but it's going to have the proper crossmember front spring mount. Can't mention the chassis I'm using, however! LOL! Jerry
