if anyone has seen my post in the general forum about the junkyard closing, i walk through it again today, they have a 47-53 cab over that has the dealer option of tandem axles. the truck is rough shape but the frame is perfect as is the running gear- it's all there. the guy who owns this stuff is going to scrap everything, he wants it gone. he is asking scrap price, so 500.00 or so. this is well worth it for somebody who wants one. They are located about 30 minutes from the KS speedway. I-70 to hwy 7/73 north to leavenworth. In leavenworth take the old hwy 92(spruce street) west, just on the west side of town. If I had more room, I would seriously consider it. I just love those snub-nosed, bulbous beauties! wink

Spanky, you have room for "just one more?"

I always make room, when needed. Anyway you can get a picture, or two, of that Tandem COE.

If one of you gets some pictures, maybe you could post 'em for the rest of us. Don't see a lot of tandem COEs...
