Attended the subject named event Last month for the first time. It was huge! Probably 200 vehicles at least. Went as wingman to Erik (many ODSS may remember Erik from Homecomings past) and his current project, a Kaiser-Jeep M-715.

Saw a few Stovebolts there. Charlie was the only non-street rod AD truck in attendance.

Fun morning.

BTW, also in attendance was "Jake" (named changed to protect the innocent...). Jake has the dubious honor of having replaced Hambone at Test Wing Atlantic ... *MUCH* humint collected on Brother 'Bone ...

It is good to see that the COEs are becoming front and center instead of a back-row curiosity. shake

Mike -- I am told that it's every other Sunday, so next one *should* be Nov 12th (day after the Stauffer Bros. Auction). I'll try to confirm that.

I skipped it, too, Bo. Maybe in 2 weeks if this wasn't the last one for the season.

All I can say is that Eric, Dan, Mike and Jake are big losers for bailing out on me. You have an excuse. How the heck are you, BTW??? SoMD misses you.

Last one for the year tomorrow!

I'll be there. Hobby Lobby/Harbor Freight parking lot in California, MD.

Probably go as a Ford guy unless any of you want to go.

So ... I went as a Ford 4x4 guy this morning. Parked with the Jeeps (Eric and a woman who pulled up in a Jeep Wagoneer (early '80's vintage). Apparently, according to her husband, she has 7 of them. Attendance was down because of the weather. After, Eric and I hit Harbor Freight smile for the Black Friday sale.

After that, we declared victory, put ourselves in for medals and promotions and promptly dismissed ourselves. A grand morning.

So, guessing no vehicle recovery demonstration using your new winch? That would have been a whole new category with an extra medal and trophy, Ja? Anyways, looks like a valiant year end effort sir! thumbs_up
