'49, & '50 had inside cab fuel tank, with solid one piece door glass. '51 was only year with pull down door handles, & door vent glass. With a 2-speed its probably a 2-ton.
With a 1-1/2 parked next to a 2-ton its not hard to tell which has the stouter axles just looking at the rear hubs. I don't know if the spring count differs or not, but you can look that up in the restoration pack.

This will be on the ID plate in the driver door jamb. It's either a '47, or '48 model. '49, was the first year, for the inside the cab fuel tank. | | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 . | | . You can also measure the thickness and size of the frame material and check this in the service manual to see what size truck.
