What "device" are you using to view/interact with Stovebolt???
Once we know that, folks should be able to talk you through how to post just the single picture you want to share.

Ron I think I've shared this with you before, but you can post any photo you have on your computer here on Stovebolt (as long as it's under 5 MB in size). It even works from a smartphone, but just a bit harder to do. LINK You don't HAVE to do the caption part.

From time to time I like to post a single shot like the view of the new stance of the truck. But every time I try and post a single picture I get every picture I have even though it is a single picture in that album. Peggy has tried to help and others even post the pictures but it comes under their name. I appreciate the help but I think I am beyond help. The old saying the more you explain it the less I understand it.

I think I just did it. Now to remember how for a second time. If you see a number of images just ignore I am trying to implant the process. Well second time is here and NO GO! Number 3-4-5.

Maybe write yourself a "steps note" on how you do it each time and keep the one that finally works (toss the other notes - haha)!

Unfortunately your link for "I did it my way" still requires the viewer to sign in to your google account to see the pic.
Can you not post the pic you tried to link the steps in "This is a new way."???

NO NO, AND NO. It has to be me but I have been up since 4 am and tried numerous times to do it. Can a single picture come from an album so as to not show all the pictures in the album? Of course, when I click on it, it shows. When I follow the advice about how to do it I don't get the intended results. I think there is one step that is stopping it. I sometimes think, because I have an android computer the instructions do not apply. But I was able to do it once and I don't know how or why.

I think the problem in this case may be you are viewing the picture on the computer directly from the google account, yes???
Because your google folder seems to require you to sign in to view (?), you need to copy and save the picture to your computer (like in the "download directory"). Once it's saved to your computer, add the picture to the post using the "Attachment manager" process, using the file location from your computer - not the google account.
Just trying to help my friend.

Ok. You need help ... from someone who uses a cell phone for all this. CALL me on your cell phone when you need something else.
In the meantime, I'll fix your image link. That I can do. (I drag and drop your image to my HUGE desk top space and then drag it into your Attachment Manager box.)
Is that a picture of your computer or a picture of your cell phone?

I was trying my cell and you don't need to save it. I am going to give up for now. I don't know why I was able to post the picture that one time. Thanks again. BTW it is a picture on my cell taken of my computer screen.

WELL, I did it again. . Maybe when I have something important I assume I will remember how I did it. I think the key was the chosen picture did not show up in the attachment. This time 2 did and I chose one and completed the post.

Ron You're getting close. Practice makes perfect. You posted the same photo twice. Dan had to fix the link you had for the picture(s) to display as thumbnails.

Now you need to work on links. That one doesn't display correctly. Could be that you need some text along with it, not just a link.
It works in my quoted post, but just takes you to a sign-in page in Google Photos.
I moved your post here from the thread in the Welcome Centre. Please don't post your attempts in that thread.

I fixed Ron's post. He left out the part of the code (see below). Post Options! Need to select HTML and UBBCode. The image shows what he had in his post (HTML). I went back and changed it HTML and UBBCode.

If I did it was an accident, I assure you. I think why it did it, I was on Bald Eagal's post. Do you mean you aren't going to say something praiseworthy? That was about a week after I got in, 1983.
