on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 5 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 5 | Here is a link to a truck I saw on Ebay. I think I am catching a bug here because I really like this truck. I know the auction has ended but what kind of value should a truck like this have? Thanks in advance. ebay | | | | | Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 2,987 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 2,987 | Doesn't seem like too bad of a price. It would have been nice to know how long since it had been running. | | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 . | | . Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 | I saw that one too. I bought a similar truck in SD with no engine or bed. I think that the bidding stopped at about the value of the truck given location and condition. If the truck were on the east coast it could be worth twice that, as most of ours are rusty. When buying a truck buy the most complete rust free one you can find, the extra money spent on a good start is saved tenfold during the restoration. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 2,549 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 2,549 | That seller, brings in alot of nice trucks. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 684 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 684 | I watched that truck also. I'm surprised it did not bid higher It also has a full pressure engine. I would not attempt to guess what the seller is wanting for it, but I think if it could be had for 2,500 or less it would probably be worth it. If your interested why don't you contact him and make a offer. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 513 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 513 | i have seen that truck for sell several times on ebay it never sells, always for sell by the same guy 1949 Chevy 3600 Flatbed all orginal 1964 gmc 4000 1973 gmc 6000 2005 chevy duramax 4x4 1994 chevy 1500 Trucks are GM and Tractors are Orange "I don't measure a man's success by how high he climbs but how high he bounces when he hits bottom." - General George S.
