I have a 1950 chevy 1300, what is the gasket called that is in the exterior door side of the window and is mounted in a channel below the window opening, it’s like a sweeper for the outside of the window and helps prevent water from water pouring into the door, also where can I get a replacement?

dogdaddy,

Most commonly known as "outer door window seal".

This one fits your 1950 doors Outer door window seal, assuming they are the originals with one piece glass (no vent window).

BTW - Your previous posts indicated you asked questions about a 1949 3100 with lift bed, then a 1948 truck and looking to replace cab with a 1952 5-window. Interested to see pics of the 1950 1300 (or is it a 3100?) that you mentioned having now. headscratch

Dan

PS - I removed your duplicate post on the same topic from the General Truck Talk forum. Now that you have the part ID'd, suggest further questions on the door and window topic would be better asked in the Paint and Body Shop forum. wink
