I found a partial grille on ebay. It's enough to slice and dice and weld up to repair the grille on my truck. The ebay grill need some rust removal, which I did with electrolysis. Here are photos. 1 My current grille 2 ebay purchased grille 3 ebay grille after electrolysis Will be some cutting and welding going on.

Is the grill on your truck missing the bottom section? Do the sections bolt together? Will you cut and weld the bottom of the new grill to the old one? Why not just rechrome the new grill?

Rechroming will cost more than buying another complete grill.
I'm too cheap for that.

What happened to the missing section? The remaining portion looks like its in good shape.

The previous owner broke it when trying to push something with the truck. Whatever he was pushing pushed the bumper down, it jumped over the bumper, broke the grill, dented both front fenders, dented the radiator cowling and dented the chin and under radiator pan.. I straightened everything as best I could. It still needs more straightening to get the chin and under radiator pan to fit along with the bottom of the grill.

Today I got to install the grill back on my truck. I cut up the ebay purchase, welded it together with my original grill to make a complete grill. I'm pleased with the result.
