It is under the dash to my left. I bought an expensive steering wheel, and a while after I had it, it would blow the horn when I turned left, which was annoying, especially if someone was crossing the street in front of me. So a momentary switch was installed. Now I would like to install one that looks like a necker nob on the steering wheel. In the picture at the bottom left, there is a diagram of the wiring board.

| | | | | Joined: Feb 2016 Posts: 1,982 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2016 Posts: 1,982 | Should be simple, I assume the circuit board will be under/behind the dash, positive and negative battery connections on the board, horn wire that was from your steering column would connect at the "horn" terminal. Definitely would use a relay to energize the horn.

'52 GMC 152 Stake Bed, Original 228, SM420, added A/C, HEI, disk front brakes, '67 Chev 3.55 rear gear. Gets used as a real truck.

I found another one that you take the steering wheel off and mount a plate between the steering wheel and the shaft. Like this.. Then I got to thinking how many times I needed to use the horn.
