If you want to be as adventurous as I am trying to be, but I'm recreating a 901 Hercules box. 8ft long, 44" wide with 14" high sides clad in steel.

Wood is southern yellow pine except for the cross pieces under the floorboards which are various hardwoods from salvaged cribbing lumber.
I'm making most of the metal bracketry myself.

I wish I could find latches like in the second to last photo (which are on Deans canopy express Justin)

Nice truck and bed! I saw some interesting hardware on the Hansen Wheel and Wagon site...

I'm thinking more along the lines of the bed on the truck pictured in the photo below. But I haven't committed to anything yet. I have a bunch of oak from two trees we cut at our farm and I have some thick hickory slabs I've been airdrying for about 3 years I'd like to use for the cross pieces.

Do you need the lower back piece for your cab? I have three extra ones that are not too rough.

I'd be interested, just a bit afraid of what it would cost to ship one. Any pictures of what they look like?

David ... not sure on the shipping. I'm heading out to the shop today -- I'll take some pictures.

David -- I pulled one of them out. I think all three are about the same. Here are the shots I got. They're yours if you want them. We can try to figure out how to get them to you. I figure all three together is not really different than just one.
