Jul 21st, 2025 | | | | Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 85 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 85 | Sent away to GM of Canada a week or two ago and got my resto pac in the mail today it cost $35.00 cdn and gave me alot of the answers I was looking for but no options were recorded for that truck! that was a bit of a disapointment but at least i got the paint code that was a big bonus.

I was a little disapointed myself since I was hoping to find a way to track down the production number.
Apparently that information does not exist from what I hear.

I my case the vin tag says body number 360 wich means 360th of 980 units built, my model of truck is a chev 1500 body style 1543 which is U.S. Chev model 6403 2 ton (1-1/2 ton special)and at least i know the engine is the original as well.

Mine was one of about 10000 made and the VIN plate is a replacement. How that got titled, I'll never know! But I did find out that it was accurate as to the plant, series of truck and month of manufacture.

My understanding is that the Canadian resto packs do contain some individual truck info. The US packs do not.
