Has anyone attempted this? The new trans crossmember basically sits in the same spot where the e-brake bracket/cantilever was located. I cant find anything on the internet and supplier has no input. Any help and/or photos would be greatly appreciated!

Since you will be removing the park brake crossmember, now is a good time to upgrade the park brake system to the all cable system that was in Chevy trucks from 1966-72. I have done this upgrade on my 1963 and 1965 C10 trucks and it’s really great. I did a DIY about the swap. All the parts are available from vendors.
Here’s the LINK. DIY all cable park brake upgrade

Lugnutz: I started collecting the parts for that conversion on my own without realizing you had a DIY.

What are you doing for the actuator? Did you keep the stock in-cab setup?

Thanks Lugnutz. Re-installing to whole e brake system on my 66 is on the to-do list this summer. Since literally everything on my truck was bent, broken, worn out or rusted out, I'm sure your list will be very helpful. I've bookmarked it for easy access.

To simplify things, I think Classic Industries sells every part you need. I do not know how they compare price wise, but it would be one stop shopping.
