I might be blind, but it does not look like the metal/rubber pieces that seal the inside of the fender to the box vent area are available aftermarket? Mine are beyond trashed.

It looks like I can simply attach thin rubber with sheet metal screws/3m tape and then the cab. What do other people do?

We used bulb seal on 55 wagon inner splash shields to the inside of the fender. Could something similar work?

It's a fairly large area to block off. Whole back of fender is open to the door jam without these pieces.

I used classicparts.com They have the filler panels and the seals. FRONT FENDER TO CAB MOUNTING PANEL and FRONT FENDER TO CAB SEALS.
Maybe not purest, but I used rivets to attach the panels to fender prior to final install.

I will check them out. I was looking the other day at it. Seems a piece of rubber belting could easily be cut to fit and placed in there. Probably better seal than what was there originally.

The original metal style are still available. I had to buy one side & had a used one for the other side . I used some leftover rubber from the inner fender welting for the rubber part. While I did use stainless wire for stapes the inner fenders , I glued the rubber to the rear fender seals. The original style clips that hold the metal pieces to the fenders are available as well. I can look back thru my receipts for suppliers, if you need them.
