Although WW II continued in the pacific until September 2,1945, the victory in Europe was a major turning point in the War. The men and women who served, The Greatest Generation, earned and deserve our continued respect.

My father flew a B-17 Flying Fortress. I think that B-17 loses over Europe were heavy until they changed to night-time bombing? | | |
