Anyone looking for new tires check Tucker Tire, in Dyersburg, Tenn. They carry 750X20 and 825X20 for $85.00 @. They are made in China, but what is'nt these days, and they have carried them for 17 years without any major problems. They list them on E-Bay for $85.00 Buy it Now with $25.00 @ shipping but I called them and ordered 6 highway tires 750X20 and they only charged me $20. a pair shipping. Total for six to Arnold, Mo. was $570. They are 14 ply tires. Hope this helps someone. Will be putting them on my 65 chevy 2 ton.

Thanks Spoon. It is nice to know they can be so affordable! I'm gonna look in my area. If the Tenn place can get them, somebody here in CA should also and I might net a cheaper overall cost even if they are slightly more expensive, considering shipping.

Ya tucker is a good place to buy tires. I get my ag tires there also. Another good place is Miller tire.

I didn't go through the whole Ebay site, but there's pairs of 7.50-20's (/tubes) on page 8 for $200 + $70 shipping. Not bad at all.

Lot cheaper than coker.

Question: Can you safely run bias tires up front with radials on the dual rear? I can't find two radial 750X20's anywhere.

I think one just needs to shop around with the tires. Most of them are china made now days, and will work perfectly fine. We got ours from the local dealer. Got 7,7.50x20, with tubes, mounted for less than $600.

Just remember that these tires, especially in the smaller sizes like 7:50x20 come in 6 to 10 ply and D to F ratings. You get just what you pay for and not another darn thing.

I have run bias fronts and radial rears on my 52 1 ton, no problems.

However I would keep looking for radials while you drive with the bias, you will like the difference when you do find them.

The following quotes I received 2 weeks ago are for 14ply tires; X=bias - R=Steel belted radial, which last 5x longer then bias.

8.25R20 Toyo $230
9.00R20 Aelous $235

8.25x20 Nutech Hwy $115

9.00 tubes $18

Shipping on the bias tires runs $25 per tire. Radial (because they weigh more)have to come by motor freight. Will need to know your postal zip code to quote them. No min or max amount of tire required to order from this company.

Are flaps included with the tubes or are they another seperate price? In case flaps is the wrong word i'm talking about the inner liner that protects the tube from rubbing directly against the wheel

The tires from Tucker Tire came with the liners taped inside for $570 for 6 @ 750x20 delivered.
