I would agree that factory is the best way to avoid headaches. On the other hand, if you have the energy and no spare, then...why not? Bill | | | | | Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 240 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 240 | Just installed the LMC Tank Kit to my 65 GMC build, and it just took about 1 1/2 hr to install and run new fuel line (steel) from the tank to the fuel pump. Didn't check on availibility for the 55, but I like the new tank instead of repaired one. Came with sender and straps.
