Hello all. Been wrenching over three decades now, recently picked up a ‘57 Chevy 6700 (SchoolBus). A bit different from my usual motorcycle, muscle car, and off road toys. Very excited to get this old bus driving again. Thanks in advance for the assistance and input!
Edit: Last pic is my 75 G30 Hightop Van, inherited from Grandpa!

Yes! Welcome to the Bolt. You got the right idea about the "nut" part. Goes well with Bolt, don't ya think??!!
That is a massive bus! Man. Glad you figured out how to do the images.

Also, if you search the site (menu bar up top), you'll see there are alot of school buses in here. Your vintage, too!

That's a very cool looking "Bus". Amazing looking condition to start off as a project. Might be just a little green with envy - haha!
Definitely want to hear more on your plans and would love to see more pics!
Catch you in the forums.

Thanks Cuda! Hoping to do an RV type conversion in the near future. Been trying to find an alternative for these WidowMaker rims I’ve got, any ideas for me? Thank you!
A kid raised on Hotwheels, Matchbox and Tonka cannot be reasonably expected to own only one vehicle as an adult.

Reminds me of "Old # 9" I rode to school. A 58 on a Bluebird chassis. Love it!

Welcome! That IS a cool bus! Do you know what band the bus body is? And was it 48 passenger, or larger than that? Looks almost like it could have been larger.

It is a Superior, about 31’ long. I believe it had 12 rows of seats, so probably a 48 passenger!
