John's got some pic and video of Buddy being driven. Maybe he'll post those. It was cool to see.

Buddy got on readily. Had to be pushed by John Deere after a stall. Getting off the trailer was a different story. I old Kubota was willing but not strong enough.

I drove Buddy up on the trailer. He did just fine and crawled up there with no issues. The stall Mikey references above was due to me getting reaccustomed to the Clark 5-speed ...

I'll post photos and video in a moment...

A moment passes ...

Buddy starting

Sweet driving Buddy

Still amazes me that a truck we *drove* out of a swamp 7 years ago not only runs pretty good (even after sitting for 10 months) but the brakes work great! We've *never* touched the brakes -- They've been fully operational since we first started it in the Swamp in December (or January) of '16 ('17?). They may need adjusting ...

Buddy’s trip over the river was short and sweet.

Unloading a truck that doesn’t start on its own, with no air for the brakes was, exciting. Once Mike used his super powers to push Buddy off, I borrowed my neighbors tractor. I had the gearing too high in the tractor at first which was laughable.

Now he resting among the trees until I have time to get started.

John,

I didn't get the chance to read and watch what you posted about "Buddy" until this morning.

What a keeper of a story!!!

Loved every second and every picture.

Thank You for sharing!

Am sure (hope?) that you and Sweet are in the process of writing a new chapter with the recent relocation of Buddy.

What a nice start to my Monday morning.

Thank You!

Dan
