I've done a forum search and still not come up with what I'm looking for. My 1946 2 ton still has the original motor - a 235. It currently has AC Delco M8 plugs. What are other options? I've tried to cross-reference these to other brands, but most charts only go back to 1965. I'd like to know a Champion and an Autolite number, as well as a "modern" AC number. Also, anyone know the numbers for cap/points/rotor/etc? Thanks!

Champion lists a number of UY6 gapped at .037. NGK list a GR4 gapped at .035.....Autolite is:

Platinum AP303 .035
Copper Core 303 .035
