I have a small seating gas leak from bottom of my gas tank. Looks like there are 3 plgs in bottom of gas tank with someking of sealant over them. Is this a repaired tank or did they gave Thea plug things

Bird man,

Any way you can post some pictures of the problem you are describing??? pix

A standard in-cab gas tank for your '52 should not have 3 "plugs" in the bottom of the tank.

There should be only one threaded port that your fuel line shut-off valve is threaded into near the passenger end of the tank that protrudes out of the cab floor.

Post some pictures and we can try and better answer your question. thumbs_up

Yes. Pics will help but someone's been monkeying with it. I assume they also drilled holes in the floor board for the two extra fittings?

You can get a brand new Canadian made tank for under $200 and the proper drain cock fitting for it for a few dollars more.
