| | | | Joined: Mar 2013 Posts: 219 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2013 Posts: 219 | i'm in the process of gathering parts to change my boys 52 GMC 1500 transmission from the old 3 speed to a Saginaw all synchro 3 speed with OD. we have just about everything but the shift linkage, we want to stay on the column. are there better linkages then the 52 oem? are later model like 60s that are different and might work better ( a 60's pickup with this trans in it) will the shift linkage work?

fabrication and bending of the shift rods will be necessary. 60's columns were different also. Good luck even finding those components.
