I have recently aqquired a 62 C10 with a 235 6cyl. All of the drivetrain serms to be original. Lots of work to do on the old SBSS. Looking forward to learning a few things here . 👍😁

fattboyzz,

Welcome to the Stovebolt and our hobby (passion, madness, addiction - you get the picture grin ). thumbs_up

We would all love to see some pictures when you get the opportunity. Beside the instructions link in the left margin, you can go here for More Picture Posting Help in the IT Short Bus.

In addition to the many great Tech forums in The Shop Area to check out, you may want to also check out '60-'66 Trucks in the The Parking Lot.

See you in the forums! wave

235 ,3 on tha tree smile
Looks a lil rough as it sets, but its actuallly in pretty decent shape.
Missing a few things. Windshield ,front bumper, headlight assemblies and driver side interior door panel being the major ones.

The 62 has some issues, but I am pretty sure I can tackle it.
Frame is rust free. Tank has been replaced. Bed has only 2 small places in the step inside corner and wood is gone already. Floor is decent in the cab. Interior is all there except driver door panel and 2 inside handles.
235 hasnt fired up yet. 3spd seems good to go.
No windshield is my biggest hurdle ,but will get it after all cab welding is done wink
Headlight rings, bowls and mount plates are gone, but PO had new bezels already.

I am ready for spring wink

haha. Was for me, actually. I've learned a bunch from this group, myself. drive

If you need some help with the *stuff* you mentioned, I think we have all those areas (and then some wink ) covered in The Shop Area. (Just finishing up our stats for January ... the Shops are the most active areas in our Forums.) A lot of great help, should you need it. thumbs_up

Hope you get to meet up with those Southern Bolters in Fayetteville. wave
