This is mine and my dads newest project. Will be looking forward to picking your brains as I have the majority of the truck parts still in boxes.

Thanks for inviting me.

Welcome to the 'bolt. The very first vehicle on this site is/was a 39 Chevy Pickup.... as was my first "rusty rod".

Another quality post.

Looks like you are off to a good start. I dig the shop too.

Welcome to the Stovebolt community! shake

Like others above have noted, you have a really good starting place with your project. thumbs_up

From the pictures of you project, thinking you may be paying a bunch of visits to The HiPo Shop

Interested in learning more about your project as you can share.

You might like to check out The Southern Bolters forum in The Side Lot and post a note about yourself to your fellow Southern Bolters. They will be glad to see another Alabama addition to the group for sure!

See you in the forums! wave

Thanks for the warm welcome. As you can see I am going with the ls platform but sticking to a carburetor to keep the old school look. At the moment I am stuck with which exhaust headers to go with as there isn’t room on drivers side for anything you can purchase that I have found. Speedway has a build it yourself roadster style header that would dump down under fender and running board but I wouldn’t be able to run inner fenders.

Any suggestions?

Take a look at the 98/99 Corvette manifolds. They are tucked in really close to the manifold.

It's okay to have a lot of the stuff still in boxes. These guys can help you identify some of it, if need be.

Name that part is quite helpful.
