I have a 41 1/2 ton PU with a '47 GMC 228 motor and a 4 speed transmission . Is the transmission & mount the same for the two?. I need to try and find a new transmission mount. Do I look for a '41 Chev mount or a '47 GMC?

If original a 1941-47 four speed would be a non synchro transmission. Sm420 started in 1948. I think the mount he is looking for bolts to the rear of the transmission and the crossmember. I would think GMC and Chevrolet would use the same mount.
Your location of ‘United States’ is hurting your cause, you might have a neighbor in your state or nearby who might be able to help you with parts or like application! Or perhaps you need to appear vague!
