My 1954 Suburban Carryall has 4 big bolts holding the rear body to the frame.

On my Suburban, there are no pads or blocks between the frame and the rear body/floor.

My Suburban sits lower in the the rear than in the front.
I am guessing that originally there were wood-blocks and/or pads?

I will check the Factory Assembly Manual (if I can find it), but does anyone know if there were 4 mounting-pads and/or 4 wood-blocks under 1954 Suburbans (and, probably Panel) floors?

Maybe 47-55st Advance-Design rear body-mounts were the same?

Thanks, Phillip. That body-mount reference-page is (as you know) for front body mounts.

Buoymaker, I am looking for info on where the 4 large rear body-mount bolts go through the frame rail.

Maybe I will try wood blocks (and rubber pads) the same dimensions as used on the front?
