Hi All,
How many Central California Stovebolt members are there? I am in Stockton,
and I wondered who all might be from anywhere nearby? I have questions about
salvage yards, car shows, truck parts, etc., and it might be good to know who is
near to me to ask. Anyone from Bakersfield to the Oregon border is "close" if you
want to share info. Thanks all. Mike.

They have a lot of old trucks
So many you will want to snoop for days in their massive yard
You are closer to it than I am, so I’m envious of you now.
It’s a bit pricey but they take the parts off for you

I'm up in Shasta County. At the top of the page you can click on member list, then use the search function, for example the town, and it will return a list of members in that location.
They may not all still be active but it is a start. JiMerit Boltr#43 is a very active member from Turlock. He may not see this, this section of the forum doesn't see much activity.

We have just been recently talking about this.

When we set up this forum for the Wild West, we were not sure *who* was out there. We had a *little* idea: (for those who remember, we had a Where in the World page.

From there, someone was working on a pin the map kind of deal that would be easier to use.


We do need to break up this huge area into parts that work for the gang. As we move on this a little more, we will look for input from those affected.

Chuck here, my 46 1/2 ton lives in San Rafael, I bounce between there and San Francisco.
For anyone nearby to San Francisco (ie:driving distance) take note:

Sunday Sept 25 2022 is the 15th year for a car/truck show I put on right in the Cole Valley neighborhood in San Francisco, a few blocks from Kezar Stadium & Golden Gate Park. Typ is 25-30 vehicles.
It is a family/child friendly event as it is in conjunction with the Cole St street Fair, ie: jumpie house/face painting/clown, plus the usual craft booths, food, etc.
You are invited to join show or stop by to say hello. No entry fees, no gate fees, no prizes, no trailer queens, we accept and enjoy daily drivers and running projects.. if it’s interesting it’s welcome, and appreciated.

Why don't you start a new thread in the the West Coast forum with the pertinent info. A link to the show would be helpful.

You may have a better chance of getting the word out then. I'm guessing it'll get responses and keep the thread in the Active Threads link on top.
