All they're really good for is increasing under hood temperatures, leaking, and burning up spark plug wires. Use a 1955-57 265 V8 exhaust manifold on the driver's side for steering shaft clearance, or the rear-exit manifolds for a mid-1980's 305 engine to make both sides look similar.

I don't want to use them, but to get the most out of my engine I probably should. Realistically using my engine to its ability will happen a few times a year.
So I have found ram horns with 2.5" exit, all weird mounting tabs are removed, etc, for less than $200. They look the part, I will coat them with the stove polish so they don't rust, and then do a 2.5 inch exhaust.
