I'm having a tough time finding the outer wheel bearing seals for Cloey (42 1.5 ton 4x4). VOV has the inner but the outers are a dead end. Any leads out there? Thank you!

Dale in Iowa,

Although I can't supply part numbers, I will say that all seals can be matched by ID, OD, thickness and lip configuration.

If you have a Motion Industries, Dixie Bearing, Applied Industrial or some other bearing house near you, you can match and order generic seals.

Thank you! I think I've located the correct seals through Chevy of the 40s. www.chevsofthe40s.com
These guys seem to have good numbers and lots of parts. I may still be in trouble for the rear seals and will certainly let you know.

Dale;
check my post on your axle question, I gave you a lead for the rear seal, it is unique to the Banjo axle

it is pressed into the outer bearing adjustment nut, when you get the new seal, just pry it out and use a large socket to "push" the new one into teh nut
