Anyone here gave this a try? I've been researching this for a while and found Flat Out Engineering has kits for this conversion that seem well made.
Think I can get an mid-80's donor vet for a decent price as they are not very desirable, and this would give the 55 IFS front and rear, R&P steering, and really good brake system. Any pro's and con's?
If I go this route, I'd like to purchase the donor vet by the end of the year.
Pic is the frame headed to blasting, have chassis prep and paint arriving today and Monday to apply post blasting.

I would say it is doable. Geometry would be the greatest challenge, but if you are using the entire set-up that should all be solved except for the mounting. Rear ends of those vettes were super soft. You may need to add to the mono leaf?
Thanks Ferris Buller (love the movie and watched it earlier this week). The kit has to be used with coil overs or airbags at all corners, the fiberglass leaf is a no-go.
