For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 123 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 123 | I'm looking at an auction site for some donor vehicles that have better front end sheet metal and doors than I have on my truck. I know the doors should fit ok, but I am wondering about the two outer front fenders. Should the fenders from the vehicles listed below fit my truck? They look visually the same.

Thanks, John

I hope Doug finds what he needs and we can get together on the rest. We're probably only 30 miles from each other.

Will also give the bolters here first shot. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2016 Posts: 1,985 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2016 Posts: 1,985 | Are you looking out of state? If it's close I could probably get a trailer.

The 1957 4000 and 6000 Series truck fenders are a one year only fender as the front axle was moved 2.5" forward to help eliminate tire rub on the cab during a turn, so be careful when looking at fenders when they are laying on the ground. The bottom of the wheel opening on the 55/56 fender is about 39" wide and the 57 is about 41" wide.
