Its an Aeromotive liquid filled gage, better quality higher cost than most. The gage as received was defective, as the needle pointed to way less than zero before I even opened the package. I opened the box and relieved any built up pressure in the gage case but it still showed well below zero, obviously a defective gage. I emailed Speedway about the problem along with photos, and within 5 minutes I had a response and within 15 minutes they sent another email indicating they would send a replacement gage and no they did not want the bad one back.
This is how customer service is supposed to work and I have had similar experience with both Summit and Speedway. These are good companies.

By the way, the Speedway museum in Lincoln is a must see if you are ever in the Lincoln Nebraska area. Some of their parts are made offshore and some are made in the USA. Shipping issues are becoming more frequent both with delays and damage from poor handling. I have ordered thousands of $ worth of parts from Speedway, Summit, LMC, Rock Auto, Classic Parts and many other lesser known old vehicle parts dealers and have had very little issues. Those that did pop up were resolved to my satisfaction.
These suppliers cannot satisfy 100% of their customers, it’s just plain impossible but most are doing a really good job.

They actually make some parts in house. When touring the museum years ago they had a window that you could see into their machine shop.
The museum is pretty awesome. Definitely worth checking out.
