Speedway is a major parts supplier and like all, the supply chain is challenging. Some of their parts are made offshore and some are made in the USA. Shipping issues are becoming more frequent both with delays and damage from poor handling. I have ordered thousands of $ worth of parts from Speedway, Summit, LMC, Rock Auto, Classic Parts and many other lesser known old vehicle parts dealers and have had very little issues. Those that did pop up were resolved to my satisfaction.
These suppliers cannot satisfy 100% of their customers, it’s just plain impossible but most are doing a really good job.
