Can't wait to see Joe's pictures and video from the drone. Or any of the other pictures all y'all took.

In the meantime, here are a few of mine while we wait for the good stuff...

Happy to have made the trip and joined the group. Happy for the fellowship. Also happy to have proper name for the truck formerly known as flappy.
Thanks for the chow and coffee.
But no pictures from me

Sorry for being a little late with this but, I extended my Winchester Weekend one more day to get some chores done and basically prepare myself to come back to work. It was another beautiful day to do just that.
It was in fact a great weekend, great show and great time with old and new friends. We sure do miss those who did not attend. The weather was great for most of the time which always helps. We had the most campers ever at 8 plus a few tenters so a huge turnout for camp Stovebolt.
As always, thanks to those who brought food and beverages and prepared dishes not only for Saturday nights dinner but throughout the weekend. I would try and name everyone but would probably miss someone or something. Even down to running for donuts (Timmy Guy, Hambone or breakfast sandwiches (Pat66). I know who you are and so do you so a huge thanks to all for keeping everyone fed. There was no shortage of food (and beverage!) that's for sure. The Saturday night banquet was a feast to say the least.
Thanks also for everyone's help with the trash can pickup Saturday night, oh and, for those who participated in the IAP (It's Another Peterbilt) show on Saturday afternoon. Always a highlight and well received by the folks leaving the show field.
One of the coolest things that took place was the big green giant Napco truck made another appearance in Winchester for the first time in I think 10 or 12 years. It wasn't running when it got there on Thursday but with George's perseverance and his pit crew of Sweet, Panel Fan and others, it was running like a Swiss watch in time for the slow race on Saturday afternoon. Another mention worthy appearance in Winchester was old Flappy Fenders. This was the first time most of us had seen it in person after its restoration and quick departure to it's new home in New Hampshire and what a beautiful job Doug did with this truck. Of course, after he listed the parts and pieces NOT original to the truck that was once George's, George coined it The Ghost of Flappy as John said.
I know I say it every year about this time but, I love this show, I had a great time and I can't wait till next year.

Indeed.

As long as we're handing out kudos ... and things we need pictures of ...

How about a HUGE round of applause for ... AMTRAK Joe!! For graciously ... and BRAVELY ... letting us use his gorgeous and decked out Ram 3500 and the fancy hydraulic tilt thingy trailer for the Grand Saturday Evening Trash Rodeo!!! THAT must have been a pucker factor ... And did anyone get a picture of trash detail???

Sorry for the late post, but I’ve been on the move since leaving the show. Joyce and I are currently camping in the Pamlico Sound area of NC and enjoying some down time. As for the thanks that needs to be paid to my fellow Bolters, the list is long and illustrious and I could never do justice to all involved. Without naming names (you know who you are), I appreciate spare parts, coozies, camp hosting, loaner parts, knowledge, ride sharing, cold weather clothing loans, wrenching, alligator clips, unloading/loading, chow, coffee and most of all the Brotherhood. It was an epic event and as always, I’m looking forward to the next one.

Take care,
George

It was a great time with everyone! Since I had not stayed through Sunday in the past years, I didn't know about the wonderful feast that we enjoyed on Saturday afternoon! That was great and thank you to everyone that brought and created so many great dishes! I may have to bring my Scout next year to compete for the slow race! It was interesting to see a rocket blasting by on Saturday night! You don't see that too often. I hope we can all get together again soon!

Billy, Considering his misspent youth in Brooklyn and that he currently resides in Greater Philly ... we may have to resort to empty threats of physical violence...

Also, not to be petty or anything ... but all of us *did* literally sacrifice whole minutes of our lives to the making of these videos ... I do not think it too much to ask that he spend a few (maybe many ...) hours sequestered alone in his basement learning the video software and editing all his b roll into a finished product ...

One would hope that his absence from these discussions is an indication that he is slaving away at his computer and not laying facedown at the back of his shop yet again sleeping off another bender ...

So ... um, yeah... c'mon Man!

Turns out, something similar happened to me. The description to a photo I was testing had something about the KC event. Am hoping someone in IT Shortbus can help with that. Will try a few things today to bring it to the fore. Need to clear that up.

Hambone did a good job renaming his photos. Makes a WHOLE LOT MORE SENSE now!! thumbs_up

Hey everyone - sorry for the late joining and the absence of video........I have to tell you - it's cool video BUT BUT BUT..........I captured the video with some high resolution and I don't possess the skillset to knock it down to manageable file sizes........and share with everyone......I'm trying. That being said- I'll build an album of still photographs and post it up to Google or somewhere for all to enjoy or laugh at.

JOhn - I'm diddling with Adobe Premier Pro for video editing. I've watched some YouTube but it just isn't working. I wish I was near you so we could figure it together. I still refer to the notes you gave me on unsharp mask in Photoshop.......those were the days.

Patient my pals - I;m trying..
