So the pressure is off...I haven't pulled it off the truck yet, but, it looks like a crack in the left side of the exhaust manifold. The gaskets are bad and exhaust is leaking all around, so I can't really tell if the crack leaks too.
Can a crack be stop drilled and brazed, or should I be looking for a replacement ?
Bill | | | | | Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 586 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 586 | I have had some luck with stick welding exhaust manifolds using stainless rod. grind,weld,grind,repeat.It all depends on how much you are going to use the truck.Replacement sure is easier.

Must be able to cook , clean , sew , tune engines and polish trucks. Must have old Stovebolt and garage. Please send picture of old Stovebolt and garage.
