Took my 3100 for a victory lap along the waterfront today! Lots of detail left to do , but driving the '54 1/2 ton pickup/'67 Camaro for the first time in 2 years was very satisfying.
Thank you, Victor Frankenstein, for showing the way.

There's always details left to do. Just part of the fun!

A big part of the enjoyment of driving my old bucket are the smiles , waves and thumbs up from passing cars and Harley riders. The classic rounded body lines make people happy in a good and simple way.

When people do that, I call it “old truck rubber neck syndrome!”
Enjoy!!

I had a guy ask at a rest stop in Va. If he could look the truck over and I said yes and went to the restroom. When I came back he apologized for opening the hood. BTW it has an alarm system on it. He said he was barely able to pass me at 70 mph and wanted to know what was under the hood. It has the original engine but it has a Nova rear end with 2.73 gears and at 70 mph it is pulling bout 2000 rpm. Great for flat land Indiana but I wonder about real mountains states not east coast Interstate types but out west.
