I'm converting a 53 3100 to 12V. Does anyone sell a direct drop in replacement 12 blower motor? Or, does anyone sell a complete drop in replacement heater assembly?
You can buy all kinds of 12V fan motors. You search by motor diameter, shaft diameter, speeds and mounting bolt spacing. Give all your dimensions and we will find one for you. Be sure to use careful patient care when removing squirrel cage.
Or use a step down converter like Gord did....no disassembly/assembly work that way.

Ken Sungela You could go to NAPA buy voltage reducers 13$ mine has run since 2018 that way. Read the instructions takes 2 I think. Mine even has 2 speeds.

I tried a voltage reducer but it didn't work well for me, so I went with a new 12v motor from Brother's Trucks (which is apparently now part of the Holley family) if I recall: https://www.holley.com/products/ac_and_heating/blower_motor/parts/HTRM063 It might have been Jim Carter Trucks: https://oldchevytrucks.com/el116.html I think the shaft was smaller than the original so the new motor came with a sleeve to adapt it to the squirrel cage. Been working great for years.
