Does a 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton use the same brake shoes I have 2 adjustment holes on the backing plate

3/4 ton is different everything from the 1/2 ton
Maybe they share the same lug nut.

You don't say what year it is but the 73 on back 3/4 ton had Huck brakes. Yours evidently has huck brakes as it has 2 adjustment slots that probably are in the top portion of the backing plate.

More detail needed as not sure if this question applies to "Thelma" or another truck.  Pretty sure on 51-55 1st Series 1/2 ton fronts and rears where different from each other, and 3/4 - 1 ton were different from 1/2 ton altogether. Seems to me 3/4 - 1 ton used same shoes sets front and rear. Try doing a search by vehicle info on NAPA website. You may find what your are looking, or a lead towards another supplier.

I think some years used the 1 ton front shoes as the 3/4 rear shoes but my memory is hazy
The 1 ton rear is a 14 inch brake drum, larger than anything on a 3/4
But I assumed we were discussing 1950s trucks
So maybe later years they start to share more

It's a 49 3600 (Thelma on my profile is a 1950 3600) when I did a quick search on Google the ones that came up just said 1949 Chevy pickup

John had to have the brake shoes relined on his 3800 pickup, and the first try didn't take- - - -the bonding glue on the linings failed and the linings came off the shoes. I think the rebuilder ended up doing some riveting on the second attempt. If the shoes aren't worn or damaged, don't discard them. They can have the friction material replaced.
