Just joined the forum, I just took possession of a 65 c10 fleetside with new 350 motor and turbo 400 trans. I operate a small custom framing and woodworking business and the truck will be used for picking up materials and deliveries. Right now it runs and drive great but still needs a little work to make it road worthy and safe (mirrors, blinkers, lights, and a steering column/box that doesn't give me anxiety). I'll slowly restore it when there is time and money but for now I'm just concerned with keeping it on the road.
What are some good resources/manuals anyone can recommend for general repairs and maintenance?

There is very little that cannot be purchased new for your truck. Lots of vendors and some stuff is still available from Chevy.

Welcome! As mentioned, there are forums here that cover every aspect of your truck. A good start would be to ask your specific questions in the proper forums. The guys there can most likely direct you to the resources you will need. Good luck, and keep us posted on your progress.

And yes, lots of answers to be had in our forums -- a lot of corporate knowledge resides herein, so feel free to tap into it. All we ask in return is that someday, you share what you've learned.
One more thing .... You may not have to replace your steering box. It may just need adjusting. The gang can walk you through that. Go introduce yourself in the 60-66 forum. LOTS of experience in there.

I see you found the Electrical Bay, for your blinker issues. General Truck, which was a good guess and the thread was moved to the Driveline for your sloppy steering and you got some good responses there.
If you go to the Search box (either up top in the menu bar or to the left where the magnifying glass is), it is a start to finding parts. The Bolters may have *specific* ideas about various vendors.
