My steps looked cruddy so I messed with yesterday. I went to Hobby Lobby for model car paint & a couple brushes. Took the step plate with me to match the blue. Got home and wire brushed the plate, scraped out the old paint with a small screwdriver, and roughed up a bit with sandpaper. Put on three coats of paint with a small brush. Those little paint bottles are more than enough paint. Here is before and after pics.
