My truck won't start after replacing old fuel filter.

I’ve never primed mine.

Cranks but won't turnover. I can see fuel in the filter. Tried starter fluid into the carb but didn't start. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 7,440 Bolter | | Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 7,440 | New gas tank or old gas tank? If old it may have crud floating around in it. When the crud gets close to the fuel outlet the fuel pump sucks the crud up against the fuel outlet and shuts off flow. Let it set awhile and the suction releases and fuel flows again.

Turn the filter end for end, maybe it has a check valve built in and can't push gas through.

One of those round spider nests got against that steel line and would act like a check valve. Now use a much better fuel,start,run,ride,drive,easy to trouble shoot,no vapor lock,no fuel pump,big filter !!! | | |
