They sound like a real help for someone who is going to disassemble a truck. Maybe not really an assembly manual, but it's pretty helpful.
an idea is only stupid if you think about it rationally.

I found a book about 39-46 chevy trucks that gives detailed pictures and orig part numbers. It is an original book printed in the 40s. | | | | Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 587 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 587 | I'm not aware of such manual for that body style. Even the shop manual for older trucks was just the car one with a supplement for trucks. Mechanicals are about the same for the AD 47 to 54 trucks, but body is all diff.

Might be of some help. http://www.brads41-46chevys.com/id31.html | | | | Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 42 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 42 | Thanks guys I have been to Brads' site, very helpful. I guess I will keep a good picture record for when I go to put the truck back together. | | |
