I have read about assembly manuals on this site but have not found one for sale any where yet.Any ideas where I might find one for my 1946 1 1/2 ton Chevy truck? They sound like a real help for someone who is going to disassemble a truck. Thanks

All I ever used was the manuals online ..

Maybe not really an assembly manual, but it's pretty helpful.

an idea is only stupid if you think about it rationally.

I'm not aware of such manual for that body style. Even the shop manual for older trucks was just the car one with a supplement for trucks. Mechanicals are about the same for the AD 47 to 54 trucks, but body is all diff.

Mike,

I don't know of a manual, but here's a site that has some really good information about the Art Deco body styles. Might be of some help.

Thanks guys
I have been to Brads' site, very helpful. I guess I will keep a good picture record for when I go to put the truck back together.
