I have a 1951 Chevy 3100 that has been restored and now is being reassembled. This process was taking so long that I had to go get the truck from the shop, due to it being there almost five years. During the reassembly, I’ve noticed pieces for the brake and clutch assembly missing, are there any universal kits that will work for my application, clutch and brake assembly from other vehicles that will work? Engine that’s going in is a Chevy 406 small block backed by a 4 speed Muncie. Thanks for any assistance concerning this matter.

The stock brake and clutch pedal pivot shaft mounts to the frame. Is that what you're looking for. Since you're putting in a different engine, you might want to go with a firewall mount swing pedal assembly that pivots from the top. We need to know which way you're going. If you're looking for the stock pedal shaft that mounts on the frame, send me a PM (after you have a few more posts).

Several vendors and even ebay sells a nice brake master cyl and booster with pedal assy. These I believe are set up for automatics but you'll need to see what's out there.
